Happy Independence Day, Democratic Republic of the Congo, from the Association of Kenyans in Burundi!

Across the border, our neighbors in the Democratic Republic of the Congo prepare to celebrate their independence on June 30th. The Association of Kenyans in Burundi takes this opportunity to extend our warmest wishes to the Congolese people.

For [number] years, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has persevered as a nation of immense potential, rich cultural heritage, and abundant natural resources. We, the Kenyans in Burundi, recognize the significant contributions of the Congolese people to the region and beyond.

We celebrate the resilience of the Congolese spirit in the face of adversity. May this Independence Day be a time for reflection, acknowledging the strides the country has made, and looking towards a future filled with peace and prosperity.

The Association of Kenyans in Burundi recognizes the strong ties that bind our nations, particularly in the areas of trade, culture, and shared values. On this joyous occasion, we hope to strengthen these connections further.

Tunawapongeza watu wa Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Kongo kwa uhuru wao! (We congratulate the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on their independence!)

Kwa niaba ya Jumuiya ya Wakenya nchini Burundi (On behalf of the Association of Kenyans in Burundi)
