For many years, Burundi has stood tall as a nation of resilience, rich culture, and breathtaking beauty. We, the Kenyans in Burundi, are grateful to call this land our second home and be part of the vibrant tapestry of Burundian society.

On this Independence Day, we celebrate the spirit of Ubumwe, Ibidukiriye, Ntaguraka (Unity, Patriotism, Work) that has propelled Burundi forward.
